McLane Frequently Asked Questions
Quick Reminder: We are not resellers or distributors. At McLaneEdgers.com, you’re purchasing straight from the same team that builds every machine.
Our mowers are shipped mostly assembled, requiring only a few quick steps before they’re ready to run. Simply attach the handle and controls, check the settings, and add fresh oil and gasoline. We recommend setting aside about an hour to complete setup and review the user manual for optimal use.
Most orders are delivered within 7 to 10 business days. Once your order is processed and leaves our California facility, shipping time typically takes 3 to 4 days depending on your location. We begin preparing your equipment for shipment shortly after purchase to ensure a smooth and timely delivery.
The fastest and safest way to purchase is through our official website at https://mclaneedgers.com, which features secure checkout powered by Authorize.net. You can also place your order by phone at (562) 633-8158. Once your purchase is completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email right away.

We highly recommend only using original McLane parts. Our mowers are precisely engineered, and using non-genuine components may cause technical problems. More importantly, installing aftermarket parts will void your warranty.
Both options deliver industrial-grade performance. We use Briggs & Stratton XR-Series and Honda GX-Series, both featuring heavy-duty components like cast-iron sleeves, hardened crankshafts, and long-lasting exhaust systems. Either engine will last up to three times longer than a standard consumer mower engine.
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for both residential and commercial use. It does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance. Coverage lasts for one year from the date of purchase (60 days for commercial use).
Only basic tools are needed, such as a wrench, screwdriver, and pliers. Assembly instructions are included in the owner’s manual.
Yes. Engines are shipped dry. You must add oil and fresh gasoline (for gas-powered models) before starting the machine.
